Wells Fargo gives $100,000 to Charlotte nonprofits

Wells Fargo announced that it has given $100,000 to Charlotte nonprofits in recent weeks to mark the North Carolina conversion of Wachovia branches.

Receiving money:


The nonprofits were chosen by vote of Wachovia customers and employees in August and September.


Last year, Wells Fargo and Wachovia gave $219 million to nonprofits around the country.

It is nice to see big corps giving back, especially in such a time of economic need nationally and in the Charlotte community. Good for you Wells Fargo!

Anonymous at 12:48...how did they single handedly destroy your 401(k)? I have mine with a brokerage firm and take responsibility for my losses, as I made my own investment decisions...and the decision to not safeguard my investments with stops.

That's just great. Why in the world can't they give their employees a decent raise. They're treating the Wachovia employees like dirt.
