HelpWithMyBank.com could be dangerous, OCC warns

A number of websites have sprung up in recent weeks to serve people who wish to switch banks. At least one of them, though, could damage your computer, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency warns.

HelpWithMyBank.com is attempting to "masquerade" as the legitmate government website HelpWithMyBank.gov, run by the OCC.

Logging on to the dot-com site appears to redirect to the government site, but could expose users to malware, the OCC warned in a public statement today.
