Wells Fargo waives fees on remittances to India through Nov. 4

Wells Fargo customers can send money to family in India fee-free through Nov. 4 in honor of one of the nation's most important cultural festivals.

Diwali, known as the fesetival of lights, runs from mid-October through the beginning of November.

Wells Fargo customers can use the bank's ExpressSend service to send remittances to India without transfer fees, the bank says. Transfer fees to India are generally $5 for a transfer from an account or $7 from cash.
